[edit] Firm Statement

Cambridge Seven has achieved a high level of excellence by employing an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to seek innovative, intelligent solutions in its diverse practice areas. The firm’s design process is open, non-linear, and informed by a wealth of experience in architecture, construction, exhibit design, art, urban design, and graphic design.

The firm designs “from the inside out,” looking for ways in which the experience and the building can best work together. Cambridge Seven’s design teams study the end-user experience, visitor circulation, use of light and space, and, in many cases, the exhibit narrative.

Seven Principles of Cambridge Seven design:

• movement – orchestrate circulation

• communication – facilitate connections

• culture – celebrate community

• discovery – share new perspectives

• placemaking – establish a unique sense of place

• image – transform ideas into reality

• experience – enrich the human condition

Design Partnerships:

Cambridge Seven’s staff of planners, architects, exhibit designers, and graphic artists team with clients including developers, private corporations, schools, universities, museums, investors, municipal groups, and local, state and federal governmental agencies. With projects throughout North America and in Europe, the Far East and the Middle East, the firm works in both the new construction and renovation arenas.
