Norman Foster + Partners designed major remodel of this late-19th century railway station, including the addition of a new covered train platform and dome over the existing building. The existing stone building was one of the few buildings in Dresden that remained standing following extensive bombing of the city during World War II. The project also included a major renovation of the existing structure.
